Care

Grooming your Mi-Ki is simple and easy. Their care is minimal yet fun.

  • Brush their silky long coats with a metal comb or brush 2–3 times a week.
  • Bath your mi-ki every 2-3 weeks or send to a groomer for a nice bath and trim.
  • As with all small breeds, good dental hygiene is important for healthy teeth and gums. Brush their teeth regularly or use an enzyme additive in their water.
  • We prefer to keep our Mi-Kis in puppy cuts because they look so cute! Puppy cuts are nice for Mi-Kis that live in hot environments like Arizona where the heat can be extreme. However, when it’s show time, we let their hair grow out.
